Walk to Lake Sumner
There is a DOC parking are at the entrance to Lake Sumner Forest Park where self-contained motor caravanners can freedom park.
The parking are is primarily for trampers who want to do some the walks that vary in length from 30 minutes to 5 hours.
It was a drizzling wet autumn day when we stopped by, so we only stayed long enough to take some pictures before continuing on to Hanmer Springs.
