Jimmy Armers Campervan Parking is a roadside parking area overlooking the beach and close to the Kaikoura Seafood and Iced Gelato Icecream kiosks.
This is a prime spot where self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight and also sample delicasies like Kaikoura crayfish, or cool off with a gelato icecream.
There are clean public toilets.
While the view over the beach is stunning, you are only just off the main road, so it might be a bit noisy if staying overnight.
There is a limit for staying overnight of 1 night every 28 days and you're expected to leave by 7am next morning.
