Kaikoura Whale Watch is one of the outstanding attractions when visiting Kaikoura. There is plenty of parking for large vans, and a cafe inside the reservations building that you can enjoy while waiting to board your cruise boat.
Be sure to check the Whale Watch website for up to date information and to make advance bookings. It's likely to be very busy over the summer holiday period, so be sure to book ahead of time.
We didn't check if self-contained motor caravanners can stay overnight in the parking area. Check at the reception desk if you want to do that - it might be useful if your cruise gets cancelled, of if you have to wait until the next day.
