Eyre River Reserve

There is a large reserve alongside the Eyre River just south of Oxford town. Freedom parking is allowed for self-contained motor caravanners
This is one of our favourite places, with plenty of room and all-weather on grass parking. There are picnic tables and mature trees if you need shade.
We've been here a number of times, and picked mushrooms here last March. There are also wild blackberries by the river if you're there in late summer, and lots of wild flowers as well.
It's a popular picnic area for locals, and lots of people come through walking their dogs.
