Public toilets
Beach Rd Reserve overlooks the Tauranga harbour and has a small carpark where self-contained motor caravanners can freedom camp.
We arrived in the early evening, but there were still a number of cars parked in the small carpark. We decided to move on as there was not a lot of room. Otherwise it's a nice location with a great view over the harbour.
There are public toilets close by.
However, the railway line is very close, which would make it rather noisy if staying overnight.
