Access to Papamoa Beach
Harrisons Cut is a stunning, free location for self contained motor caravanners to freedom camp overlooking Papamoa Beach.
However, it's only a small parking area, and no more than two vans at a time can park overnight. You are also limited to a maximum of two nights per calendar month.
So, while it's a great location, your chances of being able to stay are slim over the busy summer holiday season.

Please note that the Western Bay District Council is now actively monitoring their freedom camping sites. Be careful to park in the designated areas or risk a $200 fine.
