The Taylor Reserve is a parking area with access to Papamoa Beach and is available for self-contained motor caravanners to park overnight
This is an excellent location to enjoy some time at Papamoa Beach. However, there is not a lot of room, and overnight parking is limited to 2 vans per night, and for a maximum of 2 consecutive nights per month.
You're sharing the parking area with local people wanting to access the beach, so it would be best to avoid weekends, when it is likely to be busy.
It had been raining just before we arrived, so the pictures look a bit gloomy. It would be stunning on a clear, sunny day.
