You're also just opposite the police station
Diggelmann Park is right in the centre of Katikati town and offers overnight parking to self-contained motor caravanners.
With the shops across the road, and easy access parking (if driving south towards Tauranga), this is an excellent place to stop for a Robert Harris coffee, or to do some shopping.
However, it would be quite noisy to stay overnight alongside the main road. Katikati spoils you for choice, and there are much quieter locations close by.
