Uretara Domain includes a PDS and has an on-grass parking area on the outskirts of Katikati which is available to self-contained motor caravanners for freedom camping.
The reserve is well back from the main road, so should be reasonably quiet if staying overnight.
The public dump station is well designed and includes drinking water.
