The Cape Foulwind Seal Colony has a long scenic walking track out to a viewing platform overlooking a distant seal colony.

This is a popular attraction with plenty of parking and public toilets,  including parking allocated for motorhomes.

The walk around the coast is stunning, with views out over bays and inlets. The seals are inhabiting their natural environment, sunning on rocks or cavorting in the water. At the right time of the year you'll see seal pups playing.

If you have them, it's worth taking your own binoculars as the viewing platform is up high, and the island is about 400 meters away.

You can take a dog with, but it must be kept on a lead.
