Carters Beach Top 10 Holiday Park is located in a small beach front community to the west of Westport. With excellent facilities, this is a great choice for motor caravanners.
With the beach just across the road, there is safe swimming and excellent surfing. It's also close to a golf course, café, bar, and dairy. With bikes for hire, you can do some exploring without firing up your motorhome.
Likewise, it's great for kids, with a really nice adventure playground and a spacious and safe grass area for running around.
And there are plenty of other attractions further afield, including the seal colony, and the Cape Foulwind Lighthouse. And, of course, you're only 7 minutes from Westport.
We called in in mid autumn, and the holiday park was pretty much empty. I imagine it would be really busy over the summer holidays.
