Public toilets and dump station
The dump station
There is a small reserve near the end of Happy Valley Road which has a public dump station and fresh water for motor caravanners.
This is a very convenient dump station if you are staying out at the Owhiro Bay reserve, especially since it also includes fresh water.
The reserve also includes public toilets, but these were locked at the time we visited. This might be a temporary issue.
