Sheep grazing on the reserve
Apiti Domain is a large grassed area where self-contained motor caravanners can freedom camp in a country environment.
When we called in, there were sheep grazing in the reserve, so this would be a nice opportunity for overseas visitors, or 'townies' with children, to experience rural life first hand.
Be sure to close the gate at the entrance or you definitately won't remain welcome!
