Lakeland House Restaurant is in Waihi Village, on the southern end of Lake Taupo. With stunning views over Lake Taupo, this is fine dining with a real view.
We don't usually include restaurants unless you can park overnight, but we called in on a brilliant sunny autumn afternoon, while checking out Waihi Village, and thought it might make a great location to eat out on a special occassion.
Unfortunately, Waihi Village itself doesn't appear to be at all motorhome friendly, but there is good parking available should you want to stop by.
