The Tokaanu Reserve is a secluded rest area of State Highway 41, and overlooks Lake Taupo. Self-contained motor caravanners can freedom camp here.
There is sealed parking along the driveway, or you can park on grass. Picnic table and rubbish bins are provided.
This is a prime location set well off the main highway and with really nice views over Lake Taupo.
