Turangi Bridge Motel is at the entrance to off State Highway 1 and provides free overnight parking for self-contained motor caravanners.
The parking area is on sealed area in the front of the motel. The motel restaurant is available if you want to take a break from cooking, and there is a Medi-Spa service available as a treat for the ladies.
This is a nice location, and would be a good base for exploring Turangi, doing some fishing, or other adventrue activities.

The parking area is no longer out the back on the grass. It is on the bitchum at the front. Still a great spot right on the river. Selfcontained camping for free hard to find in Turangi. Shame because its an interesting awesome place.
