The golf club rooms
The Tokoroa Golf Club is on the main highway south of Tokoroa, and have made their large sealed parking area available for self-contained motor caravanners to park overnight
The landscaped grounds make this an attractive location to park overnight. The carpark is set well back from the road, with vegetation filtering out the road noise. It's quiet, sheltered, and the golf club members were welcoming when we called in on our way back home to Auckland.
Check in the clubrooms first if you're planning to stay.
