Goldfields Shopping Centre is the best place to do you shopping in Thames. It has a large carpark and a supermarket and a variety of other shops.
There are just three large shopping centres, with a supermarket, in the Coromandel peninsula - Thames, Coromandel Town and Whitianga.
You can't park overnight in the carpark, but you can at Danby Field close by.
