The public dump station
Public toilets nearby
There is a public dump station at the Pleasant Point Reserve. It's an excellent location for a picnic, but you can't stay overnight.
It's a great location, looking at Tairua across the harbour. With good toilets and plenty of room for parking on the reserve, this would really be an excellent for freedom camping. Hopefully, the council might one daya remove that restriction.
The dump station is old but functional. Fresh water is not available.
