A nice quiet location to stop for break while travelling through Golden Bay, or if you want to take a tour or do some shopping.
Farewell Spit Eco Tours is just a short walk away, and they take visitors out to Farewell Spit to see the only sea-level gannet colony in the world.
Overnight parking is not allowed, so you will have to stay in one of the campsites, or move on.
