Fittal Street Reserve provides freedom camping for around 12 self-contained vehicles and includes public toilets and a dump station.
This is perhaps the best freedom camping location in the Nelson district. Looking out over the harbour and with plenty of room for larger motorhomes, you could stay here quite comfortably while exploring Nelson. The only constraint is that you must park within the designated area as indicated on the map.
