Glenorchy Hotel offers excellent dinners and limited overnight parking for self-contained motor caravanners.
We called in after a long drive from Cromwell, and decided to eat out for a change. There were only 2 parking areas designated for motorhomes, with one empty slot. So we parked and went in to reception to check in and book a table for dinner.
Overnight parking was free if we eat at the restaurant, and we undertand that more parking can be made available if the two designated parks are full. Free wifi was also available for diners.
The meal was excellent. It was clearly a very popular venue, and Shuping and I both enjoyed our meals.
The hotel also includes a general store, which is good for stocking up on motorhome supplies.
This is a great location for staying in Glenorchy and we'd happily come back again.
