Bruce Jacksons Lookout is a rest area that provides stunning views over both the Clutha river and Cromwell town.
It's not somewhere to freedom camp, but it is well worth stopping to take in the view while driving along the Cromwell-Clyde road, just before crossing the bridge into Cromwell town.
