There is a small parking area for accessing a monument to the gold miners who died in the great snow of 1863.
Freedom camping is allowed for self-contained motor caravanners. However, the parking area is small, and this is really just a small carpark for those interested in viewing the monument.
There is a small long-drop public toilet available if needed.
