Parking overlooking the reserve
Lindvart Park is on the outskirts of Kaikohe - a country town which has a pioneer museum and an interesting history.
The parking area is not large, and you can't drive onto the grass area, but it provides a nice outlook over the reserve.
The is one of the few designated freedom camping areas provided by the Far North District Council.
