MARLBOROUGH: BLENHEIM

The Damfam Vineyard has a large grassed area beside a river where self-contained motor caravanners can stay for a small fee.

This is a really quiet location out in the country. Parking is in a large paddock next to the vineyard, and there is plenty of room. However, the ground might get soft in the winter, or after heavy rain.

This is a quintessential 'Kiwi' rural environment. Nothing flash, but welcoming, and a great location to just chill out away from road noise and the bustle of town life.

There is access to the river, which may be good for fishing if you have a license. Check with the owners.

There is also fresh water available on site, close to the library and honesty box.
