Public toilets in the reserve
The Nukaka General Store is a Park-over-property for self-contained motor caravanners. You can also buy basic groceries in the store.
Located at the junction of State Highway 2 and the road to Mahia, this is a good place to stock up if you're running low on the basics.
There is a small reserve next door, with public toilets, which we presume is where you would be able to park overnight. However, the access to it was blocked , and the lady managing the the shop didn't know about motor caravanners being able to park there.
The owner also owns the Morere Campng ground, and was out at the campsite at the time.
