Okiwi Bay Beach Parking is a large parking area off SH2 and looking out over Okiwi Bay. It should be ok for self-contained motor caravanners to park overnight.
This parking area was a work in progress when we visited in April, 2021. It is planned to provide parking for cars, buses and campervans, and will include public toilets and wheelchair access to the beach. This will be done over the next 6 months, so it should be ready by the end of the year.
