Entrance to the walking tracks
The Craigieburn DOC Campsite provides access to a number of walking tracks, making this a great location for getting some much needed exercise while on the road.
The walks vary from around 5 mins to around 2 hours and are set in a landscape of beech forest, tussock and rugged mountains. You can go mountain biking nearby.
The access road is gravel and narrow. This is an alpine area with heavy snow in winter. Stream water only.
Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a lead at all times.
