Kowhai Pass Domain Campsite is on highway 73 west of Christchurch on the way through Arthurs Pass. It also includes a public dump station.
It's a basic, low cost, campsite, in a quiet location, and was quite well used when we visited in early April.
You don't have to stay at the campsite to use the dump station. However, I didn't see where drinking water was available.
