Access to Papamoa Beach
Omanu Surf Lifesaving Club has a sealed parking area on the beach front which is available to self-contained motor caravanners for overnight parking.
This is another really nice location along Papamoa Beach. You can park directly overlooking the beach, and are just across the road from the Mt Maunganui Golf Course.
It is quite a busy parking area, and there is a limit of only one van able to park overnight, and for a maximum of two nights per month.
Unfortuntely, it was a gloomy wet day when we visited, and the pictures reflect that. This would look stunning on a clear sunny day.
