Matheson Bay is near Leigh on the Hibiscus Coast and has reserve with two separate parking areas, a children's play area, and clean public toilets.

The bay is stunningly beautiful, and this would be a great place to spend a day with young children, or a kayak. Or you could just chill out and enjoy exploring around the coast, or reading a good book.

The bay is well used by local people, who also make good use of the boat ramp.

There are no signs forbidding overnight parking, but it would be more considerate to make use of the secondary parking area on the other side of the small footbridge. You can access it from the southern access road from the main road. It is also available for Freedom Campng in self-contained vans.
