Taumaranui Holiday Park is just outside Taumaranui alongside the Wanganui River and bordered by 23 ha of native bush.
It's a relaxed, pleasant environment, and would be a good base for many of the wilderness activities available in the area,
You can use the camp kayaks to explore the Wanganui River, or go further afield to do the Tongiriro Crossing, take the rail trip with the Forgotten World Adventures, cycle through ancient forests, go for walks or try you hand at fishing.

They camp facilities were good, and well maintained, and there is plenty of room for large vans.
