Motutere Holiday Park offers powered sites right on the shore of Lake Taupo, as well as on the other side of State Highway 1.
This is is a large campsite, with just a small number of powered sites on the lake front.
The facilities are well maintained, and there is a gas bottle swap and a shop that provides most of what you'll need if staying on for a while.
