Chidren's Fun Pool
De Bretts Resort is just outside the Taupo town centre, and offers one of the best thermal acquatic playgrounds and also includes private spas.
The holiday parks in Taupo are all of a high standard, and de Bretts is no exception, offering a combination of on-grass and all-weather powered sites. The facilities are spotless, and there is a nice cafe in the main reception area.
However, the thermal pools and aquatic playground are a major attraction in theiir own right. If you're travelling with chilldren who enjoy water activity, while you relax in or by the adult pool or private spa, then this is about as good as it gets.
The pools are open to the public, so it's not a peaceful, quiet environment in the pool area, but the camp parking areas are off to sone side, so you can get away from the activitiy if you want to.
