The Mighty River Domain Campsite is in a beautiful location at the northern end of Lake Karapiro. This is home to many of our rowing and sculling teams and has benefited from generous sponsorship.
It was a beautiful clear day when we visited, and there were rowing team out on the water. The campsite and rowing facilities are spacious and very well maintained. However, the campsite area is set back from the lake front, as the priority is all about the rowing, and the large grandstand for viewing competitions.
There is a large reserve parking area just past the campsite if you just stay for the day.
