The boat ramp parking area at Atiamuri is a beautiful location where you can stop for a lunch break, or some time off driving. However, it is no longer available for overnight parking in self-contained vans.
It's just a small sealed parking area, but it is a little off the beaten track. There was noone else there when we arrived mid-week in late spring. It might be more busy over the summer holidays.
You can go fishing, kayaking, or just relax and enjoy the location.
