Waihi Motor Camp is a small campsite just outside Waihi town. Quiet and peaceful, it's a good choice for just relaxing, or as a base for exploring the area.
In a relaxed, rural environmnet, we also found sheep grazing within the campsite, which would be a nice attraction for young children.
They had good unmetered showers, which simply had a sign asking guests to conserve water and limit their shower time to 5 minutes.
