The Tapu Camp is an older campsite right on the beachfront overlooking the Firth of Thames.
Located in the tiny Te Mata community, it is a good cholce if you enjoy fishing and the opportunity to camp close to the water.
There a hotel across the road where you can have a meal and a drink if you don't catch any fish for dinner...
