TARANAKI: STRATFORD

Bushlands Holiday Park is off the Forgotten World Highway, around 6 km down Tangarakau Rd.

We drove past the signposted turnoff in the late afternoon, and decided not to drive down the dirt road, which looked a bit marginal. However, there are a number of farm houses along the road, so it's almost certainly ok. 

There is also some confusion as to whether the Tangarakau Ghost Town and the Bushlands Holiday Park are different campsites, and there is very little reference to either of theim elsewhere.
