Oroton Bradley Park proved to be another unexpected surprise - a large park with historic buildings, a rhodedendron garden, and large area for parking. Unfortunately, we were visiting at the wrong time of the year to see the rhodedendrons or camelieas in flower, but we really enjoyed exploring the park on a nice sunny autumn afternoon.

It is a really nice area for families to let their children run around. The adventure playground was being well used when we were there.

The best time to see the rhodedendrons is in October-November.

The campground parking is on grass, which can become a bit soft over winter. However, Ian, the park ranger, assured me that he is well equipped to help tow anyone out if they get stuck.
